Welcome to Coat to Core — Where Horse Sense Meets Science

First off, let me just say: I’m so glad you’re here.

Launching this blog has been on my heart for a while now, and it feels surreal to finally hit “publish.” My name is Trinity, and I’m the founder of Coat to Core — a space where my passion for horses, education, and wellness all come together. I’m a certified equine nutritionist, trainer, and riding instructor with a special focus on biomechanics, foundational development, and rehabilitation work.

Why This Blog Exists

The goal of this blog is simple:
To share real, educational, and useful content for horse owners who care deeply about doing right by their horses — from the inside out. Here, you’ll find lesson plans, training ideas, nutritional guidance, and thoughts on everything from groundwork to gut health.

I also won’t lie — part of this is to get my name out there. Starting a business today looks very different from when my mom launched hers. Word of mouth used to go far enough. Now, the internet is noisy, and social media algorithms don’t always have our backs. So I’m building something slower, more intentional, and (hopefully) more impactful.

Let’s Stay Connected

I have an email list — and I’d really love for you to be part of it. I haven’t sent anything out yet, but I have so many ideas I’m excited to share. My plan is to start a weekly newsletter that includes:

  • Horses for sale (You can submit yours with a photo, details, and contact info!)

  • Training tips and nutrition tidbits

  • Featured lesson plans and educational content

  • Real updates from the barn — wins, lessons, and the in-betweens

Think of it like a cozy inbox chat between horse friends. Just a little something to look forward to each week.

What’s Next?

This is just the beginning. I’ll be sharing posts regularly, and I’d love to know what you want to read about — whether it’s choosing the right feed, rehab routines, saddle fit, or building confidence with green horses.

Thank you for being here. Really. It means the world.

Talk soon,
Trinity
